Welcome! to the website of the TRAQ research group at McGill University. We are interested in research that bridges between transportation and air quality modelling. Our focus is on transportation and air pollution in Cities both at the metropolitan scale and at the neighborhood/street level. The thrust of our work is in the development of tools that simulate the generation of transport emissions, their dispersion in urban environments, and the resulting population exposure to air pollutants. These tools assist planners and policy-makers in the evaluation of strategic transportation policies as well as infrastructure changes; they also provide health scientists with information on potentially exposed populations.
